Sept 10: Bellydance Stunts

Enhance your performances or challenge your current skill set with this workshop. Learn the right body conditioning, theory and practices for the tricker side of tribal. Please bring knee pads and a yoga mat Please Note: Not suitable for anyone with knee, hip, back or balance (incl inner ear) weakness or injury.  High level of flexibility and strength required

Oct 23 & 24: Dance and choreography intensive

Hilary and Melusina have prepared intensive 'dance lab' style workshops that will skill up those attending, not only with technique, but also skills in dance development and creation that can be integrated into your ongoing dance practise. Participants will be encouraged to explore specific themes and invited to contribute ideas and movements to a choreography. Further to this, there is a performance opportunity at the Festival for those displaying a high quality of proficiency in the works created.

Suitable for: teachers, students, troupes and soloists.
Intermediate-Advanced level in any of these styles: ATS, ITS, Gypsy Caravan, tribal fusion, oriental bellydance, contemporary dance, afro, latin and yoga.

Workshop FAQ's

Hilary has been teaching since 2005

Current tuitions is in tribal fusion and contemporary bellydance.

Workshops are usually intermediate to advanced unless otherwise noted.

Private tuition is any level

Please wear appropriate dancewear, including stretchy fitted clothing so arms and torso are not obscured. Hip belts and crop tops are optional.

Bring water, notepad and pen to workshops. If doing floorwork or highly advanced moves a yoga mat and knee pads are required.
