Each term runs for 10 weeks, with a two week break between terms. Each level covers technique from Fatchance Bellydance, Rachel Brice, Red Belly Black, Ultra Gypsy, Indian and contemporary dance. Yoga and pilates are included for stretching and strengthening.

All classes are taught by Hilary Cinis, who has been teaching tribal style bellydance since 2003. Read Hilary's full bio here.

Nyree Dietrich assists with enrolment and teaching. Nyree has been studying and performing tribal style along with other traditional bellydance styles since 2004 and performs professionally with Hilary.

Tribal Fusion Bellydance Classes

Level 1 Tuesdays 6 - 7pm
Tribal basics. Suitable for all levels from beginners upwards.

Level 2 Tuesdays 7 - 8pm
Intermediate tribal.
One full term of level 1 required or a sound working knowledge of tribal style.

Level 3 Tuesdays 8 - 9pm
Advanced tribal fusion.
Minimum of one term of level 2 is required before advancing to this class.

What to wear to class
• Leggings, pantaloons or a full skirt
• Any stretchy dance wear top with either fitted or no sleeves
• Bare feet or soft dance shoes
• A fringed hip scarf, sash or tribal belt is neccessary to focus on hip work

What to bring to class
• Zills (finger cymbals).
• Pen and paper
• Water
• Yoga mat and knee pads for level 3
